Welcome to all the information you need to easily complete your permit. Please note that we offer two kinds of permits: one for filming on Bureau of Land Management (BLM) property, and one for filming in the city of Ridgecrest.

BLM DEADLINES:

If you are filming on Bureau of Land Management land, we require sufficient notice in order to process your permit application. These deadlines are strictly adhered to.

 Tuesday Noon Saturday-Monday
 Wednesday Noon Tuesday
 Thursday Noon Wednesday
 Friday Noon Thursday

INSURANCE:

Please note that if you are filming on Bureau of Land Management property, you will need a "Certificate of Insurance" naming the BLM as the certificate holder and as additionally insured. This should be for $1,000,000.00 in most cases or as determined by the BLM. The area titled "certificate holder" should read: USDI / BLM 139 Balsam St. Suite 1700. Ridgecrest, CA 93555. In order to save time, please contact your insurance company the same day you apply, or even before you apply for a permit.
